British made quality
street lighting. Victorian Copper Lanterns and Lamp Posts
Waters lighting was established in 1980 and has
produced exterior street lighting lanterns and columns for many and varied public and private
lighting schemes over this time. Waters Lighting also undertakes
specialist restoration work and manufacture of carriage lamps.
Our Victorian Copper Lantern range embodies 3 sizes of
the timeless square Windsor pattern dating from the late 1800s and
immortalised as the Victorian Street Gas Lamp However today's
lanterns use modern high output energy efficient lamps and control
gear, metal halide, sodium etc., although generally for private
property, energy saving Edison screw lamps are used.
In larger models there is an option for embodiment
of photometric reflectors to achieve specific light distribution
levels called for on public roadways and developments.
We can supply a complete
Victorian style windsor pattern Lantern or Lamp and a street
lighting column with fitted cast embellishment kit to fit a house,
garden, car park or street. Alternatively we can supply just
the Lantern or Lighting Column with fitted embellishment castings,
or just the embellishment casting kits on their own.
All our products are skilfully produced in the UK
using tooling and dies engineered from templates taken from the
original lanterns.
